I texted Dani and Lex once Nate left the next morning. They came over and I told them what happened between me and Nate once we got to my house.

“You guys did it?” Lex asked disgusted.

“No, we were close, but we didn’t do it.” I said. Dani looked deep in thought. “You good Dani?”

“Guys, I haven’t been completely honest. And seeing Jess be this honest is making me feel bad.” She looked really upset. Lex and I kind of looked at each other like “oh shit”.

“Jackson and I had sex.” She admitted.

“Ok…why do I feel like there’s more.” Lex said.

“I’m actually really angry about this, but continue.” I said.

“I got pregnant. Jackson wanted to keep it and raise it with me. I couldn’t do it. Remember that weekend I told you I was seeing my cousins? I had my cousin take me to get an abortion.” She explained. “That’s the real reason Jackson and I broke up.”

“Are you fucking serious?” I screamed.

“Calm down Jess. I get you’re angry but at least it’s not you. I’m upset too.” Lex tried calming me down.

“No I will not calm down. She is a freshman. That is not ok.” I said. Dani started to cry. “I’m sorry Dani. I didn’t mean to make you cry. You guys should have used protection.”

“We did.” She said between sobs. “I swear we did. I would never with out protection.”

“Well that makes it a little better.” I calmed down a little bit. “I’m sorry I yelled.”

“It’s ok.” Dani said.

“Why don’t we go out to eat?” Lex suggested.

“I kind of want to stay home.” Dani said.
