I walked in the room behind Paul, put down my bags next to a wall, and looked over at him as I closed the door. He was kneeled down in front of one of his bags looking through a pocket.

I collapsed haphazardly on the bed and just laid there face down with my eyes closed.

“Tired?” Paul asked. I couldn’t really tell where in the room he was.

“Uh huh. Do you mind if I just sleep like this? I don’t feel like moving”

“There’s no room for me” he said climbing on the bed and straddling my back.

“Sorry. Can you find some other place to sleep?”

“I could go knocking on other rooms and try to find some pretty lady who will have me.” He said rubbing my shoulders.

“That’s not exactly what I meant”
“Are you sure? I could probably find somebody, I mean I am a big rock star and everything.”

“Yeah, whatever. No, I think you can stay right here in this room.”

“Good, I’d rather stay here with you anyway.”

” – But I’m still not moving from this spot”

“Don’t you have to get undressed before you go to bed?”
“I’m thinking I could just sleep in my clothes”

“Not if I have anything to do with that decision”

“But you don’t!” I said grabbing a pillow from the top of the bed and throwing it behind me towards him.

“Oh yeah?” he said, getting off me and pulling off my shoes. I just giggled into the blanket and tried my hardest to hinder his progress.

He rolled me over onto my back and started unbuttoning my jeans.
