The Clock Master part 3_(0)

I am tired. I walk home just experiencing a bad business deal for my factory. I need more employees, Kara and I are not going to cut it and the men on the floor know nothing on watches. “Jeez” I sighed.
All I wanted was to talk to some of the engineer to see if they could open up some kind of on the job training that’s necessary for being a clock maker. I take the step up to my door and slowly begin to pen it trying to make sure it doesn’t squeak… It needs oiled bad. It’s late and Kara is probably in bed. I really need to be quiet, if she wakes she wont be able to work well tomorrow and she’ll be grumpy. So just quietly open the door….
I’m immediately assaulted with a hug that ruins that.
“How was the deal” She said
“It was horrid but enough on that. It is late you shouldn’t be up.”
“I wanted to see you”
She lets me in and closes the door behind me. I take off my hat and put it on my stand. I sigh remembering the days where i had to wear that hat even to sleep to cover my identity from Kara. Now it’s only the rest of the world. Sometimes I wonder what would have happened if i hadn’t met Kara. I’d probably be very lonely and it might’ve been me on that clock tower….I shake off the thought
“Hey Kara I’m tired I think I may go to sleep.”
She pouts, crossing her arms and turning away “Awwww…”
“What?”
“Can I sleep with you?” her eyes look up beggingly “Pwease”
“I don’t know I’m really tired Kara.”
“I’ll be good I swear” as she strikes a cute pose to try to get me riled up.
“Fiiine, I can’t say no to a face like that” We walk up stairs to my room and I take my suit off left with only my undergarments on.
