Tales from the SugarBowl #2

I’m contract representative for a major defense contractor. I interface with my government counterpart to manage the contractual relationship between my company and our government customer. We had some guys retire and as a result I was assigned to a couple of contracts, one out of a major Air Force base in the middle of the country and another issued out of a west coast customer. While we have made effective use of modern technology to mitigate the need for face to face meetings…All of a sudden I was traveling almost 50% of the time….and getting very tired of eating (and sleeping) alone…

I’m divorced and my travels were having a serious effect on my social life too. I was quietly but constantly complaining to my boss about all this…and trying to get the contracts reassigned to somebody else. My boss told me they were working on it…but it would take time. Then he stopped and wrote down the name of a website that I didn’t recognize. “Don’t look at this here”, he said.

It was a “sugar bowl” site that put together prospective sugar babies with sugar Daddies. I put some time and energy into finding a sugar baby in each of my travel destinations. I found a lovely 27 year old divorcee named Donna in my Midwest location…She’s an elementary school teacher and brand new to the sugar bowl…We exchanged messages for a time and she told she had been divorced for five years …and while she loved her work…finances had gotten tight…She admitted that as a local elementary school teacher in a conservative Ohio town,…she had to be ever so careful on the dating scene…and wanted to see if the sugar bowl could be a solution.

We met for dinner on my next business trip to the area.
