By now I realized it would be tough to explain to the guests down stairs why Brianna and I disappeared at the same time and why for so long. We had spent the better part of an hour in the shower feeling every inch of each others bodies and obviously ignored the passing of time under the warm, running water.

“You know, don’t you think we should get back to the party?” I’m still worried someone would start to come looking for us.

She chuckled at my troubled face and replied, “What’s the matter big guy? You don’t sound like the no-worries-happy-loveable boy that I remember from high school.” She has the biggest smile on her face when she says this.

“Yeah, well, making out at a party or away from any prying eyes n the back seat is one thing. Getting it on in a crowded house full of people, right below us, puts a totally different twist on things.” I tried to put more stress on the right below us part, letting Brie know that she was a very loud love maker.

“It’s not my fault that your tongue is a wonder of the world, and besides, I was just voicing my gratitude.” She pulls me closer in the shower, and while leaning into me to keep from slipping, gives me a long, drenched kiss. She pulls back slightly for a moment, and asks me a question that comes back to slap me in the back of the head later on during my home stay.

“Do you think that Madison and Rachel are acting a bit weird, I mean different at all?”
“Weird……how? They were just as crazy and hormonal when I left, referring to when I bumped into Rachel and Madi at the airport, “they weren’t noticeably different personality-wise.” Appearances were another story. “What’s buggin you?”

Brie continued. “It started almost immediately after Sean had broken up with Madi, and the thing is, they were crazy for each other. Then one day they just up and separated from each other, and Madison called me in tears after work that same day, telling me about how it was all over between her and Sean.”

“Did he or she say why? There must have been a really good reason for it?”
We decided it would be easier to talk outside of the shower, as I shut off the water, Brianna grabbed the towels off the rack and threw one in my direction.

“She never told me, and the week after that Sean started dating another girl from his math class, and even though Madison and Rachel were good friends, it seemed to me that they were spending more and more time with each other. Especially at Rachel’s house.”

“That’s prolly nothing, just girlfriends looking out for each other,” I assured her. I didn’t realize that I was in for such a huge surprise.

“I really hope that’s so, I just hope she is doing alright now. We haven’t brought up the subject since then.”
I moved around behind her to finish drying her back, nuzzling the back of her neck with my nose. I totally forgot that she was especially ticklish there, and then as she twitched and giggled, she made her butt jump up and down. Then the annoying, nagging feeling of someone walking in on us was brought back to our attention with a firm knock knock knock on the door, followed by a very familiar voice.

“Hey! Brie! Can I use your shower!?! I’m feeling really sticky from the heat outside.”
I recognized that it was Rachel, back from the movie that supposedly was only half way through, and I mouthed the words oh shit to Brie. I threw her a robe hanging in her closet and fumbled with my trunks, trying to tie a decent knot.

“Sure, I’m coming, just a sec!” Brie was moving quickly to tie the belt to go with the robe as I pulled my shirt over my head. I climbed silently on the bed and if on cue, Rachel nearly kicks in the door.
Rachel bounded through the doorway thanking Brie, and stopped almost instantly once she spotted me lying down on her bed, feigning to be asleep with my hands behind my head.
