I was the skinny nerd. My early years I was growing rapidly; it was hard to find clothes in my size.

My family didn’t have a lot of money so I was forced to wear clothes that didn’t fit. It seemed like every day I grew another inch.

I was constantly falling over my own feet. Thank god I had a great sense of humor. I was able to make light of my shortcomings and I was known around school as the freakishly tall funny guy. I was able to make friends despite my awkwardness. One of my closest friends was Chris. He lived down the street from me and we would walk to school together.
