I had already been separated from my last wife for several years. I lived in a small house, within the city but in a fairly discreet area. I used to go out a lot, almost every weekend, and most of the time I would come home with a stranger. I almost always met up with a friend and her boyfriend to go out for drinks, but I’m the kind of person who can’t go home until the sun comes up. Around three in the morning, they decided to leave, which I refused, but I couldn’t make them change their minds. So I told them to go on without me because I had an amazing blonde in my sights and I wasn’t going to let the chance slip away.

Spoiler: In the end, the blonde ignored me.

The thing is, I ended up alone in the place.

With my empty glass, I head to the bar to order another drink. (As a side note: I have the ability to drink many drinks without losing control.)

Well. The bar was crowded with people ordering, and the waitresses couldn’t keep up, so I pushed my way a bit into a corner of the bar and just then I bump into a guy who was there with his drink. I apologize, and upon noticing our accents, we realize that we are from the same country. He offers me a drink, and despite the music and noise, we were able to chat. Meanwhile, I kept looking at every woman who passed by where we were and making gestures so she would notice me. After repeating the same routine for the third time, I think, Cristian said, ‘It’s just that I’m into men.’ Followed by, ‘I understand if that doesn’t sit well with you and you want to leave.’ To which I immediately replied that why would it bother me, everyone is free.
