In case you haven’t read any of my previous stories. A little bit about me. My father was not very nice. I hated him he was verbally and physical abusive. He would always put me down. As a result, as a kid, I was not very confident and I was very shy. Kids made fun of me. I wasn’t an attractive little girl. I was always ashamed of my body and tried to cover up my body. This story takes place when I was 19 back in 1988. I was then starting to become more confident. I was a size 3 or 5 depending on the dress. At 19, I was 5’2”, weighed 105 lbs with 34DD breasts and blue eyes.
When I was 19, I really wanted to get into modeling. Everyone always told me I had a pretty face. As a younger child boys made fun of me because I was so shy. My father was abusive all through my childhood. Looking back, I think both those factors contributed to my need to want to be a model; I had something to prove. So I answered an ad in the paper. The ad said “Models Wanted – Looking for Attractive Girls Ages 18-21”. As soon as I saw it I called. How cool would that be I thought to myself if I could be a model. I’ll show them was my attitude. I took off work and set up an appointment for Tuesday afternoon. The guy on the phone told me to wear sexy clothes. I decided to wear a tight pair faded blue jeans a tight pink blouse (that really accented my two secret weapons..lol) and white pumps. I lookout in the mirror and convinced myself I could be a model. The place was only about 1 hour from my parent’s house. His office was in a big office complex. When I found his office I opened the door and a doorbell rang all by itself. A man came out from one of the doors in the back to greet me. He was about 5’ 10” and a little overweight. He had black hair and looked to be in his mid-forties.
‘Hi my name is Mike” he said “and you must be Katherine”.
Me – “Yes I am.”
Mike – “So you want to be model?”
Me – “Yes I do”
Mike – “Well come into my office”.
He closed the door behind me.
Mike – “Well you have one hell of a figure and a pretty face”. How old are you?”
Me – “19”
Mike “And you are…what…5’2, 5’3?
Me – “I am 5’ 2”.
Mike – “110 lbs?”
Me – “105”
Mike – “Well Katherine I am going to be honest with you, you are too short to be traditional model. For that matter you are… too curvy to be a traditional model. That being said, there are other modeling jobs.”
I just was listening to him. “Ok”
Mike – “I could probably get you work. From time to time I get calls to provide extras in movies; I’ll keep you in mind for that.”
Me – “So you have no other work for me?” I felt like he was just blowing me off. I was disappointed as you can imagine and I think he sensed that.
Mike – “Well there is all types of work for a pretty girl and that it really depends on you. For example, how would you like to be in a music video?”
Me – “That would be great.” What 19 year old girl wouldn’t want that, I thought to myself.
Mike – “You would have no problem dressing proactively?’
Me – “No”
Mike – “You would be ok with wearing a bikini or maybe just lingerie?”
Me – “Yes”
Mike – “So you aren’t shy about showing your body?”
Me – No (I actually was but I really wanted to be in a music video)
Steve – “Let me ask you this, what do you want, do you want to make money? Do you want to be famous?”
Mike – “I guess both”
Mike – “Well it is a very competitive industry.
