Sitting in the chair near the window Bao waited, slightly nervous but excited too. Looking down at herself wondering if I’ll like what she is wearing. When her husband to be suddenly cancelled their wedding this afternoon, Bao immediately came to the hotel. She knew I was still in Toronto until Sunday. Not saying anything she smiles and takes me by the hand, leading me over to the bed. I start to say something but she takes her finger pressing it up against my lips and leaning in for a soft, sweet kiss.
