Intimacy Therapy
Faith is a pretty girl. Medium brown, straight hair which she usually wears in a pony tale, half moon brown eyes, generous mouth, small nose, freckles and wears round gold framed glasses. She has a great figure, slim, thin legs, little ass, perky high riding A cups, 5’3” of cute!
I met Faith in college. She had been the girlfriend of Chad Crumley, a guy I had some classes with. One day, I overheard the guy telling his friends, “Yea, I dumped that frigid bitch. Its like pulling teeth to cop a feel. Yeah, she’s cute and sweet, but I can’t take it. She’s one of those “I’m saving my pussy for marriage” bitches”
After class, I saw Faith sitting by herself crying in the courtyard in the Quad. I sat down next to her and asked what was wrong. By the end of the conversation, I was the “rebound guy” or her boyfriend or whatever.
Well, Chad wasn’t wrong. Faith was great to be around. Funny, clever, interesting, charming, all sort of good things. But physically affectionate? No so much. Eventually, we started making out and I got further along than Chad even getting to feel her perfect breasts under her shirt. But, not much more.
Faith explained that she needed to wait until we were married, yeah she brought it up before I did, because she was a Christian. And she was and is. She was a Church every Sunday and Bible Study every Wednesday night kind of girl. I’m not much into the whole Jesus thing, but I was fine with it because that’s how my Mom and her side of the family was, so like ok. Let them do their thing.
So, we got married in June following our graduation and before we both started our brand new jobs. Well, mine was brand new, she was just going to continue to help out a couple of days a week at her Dad’s construction company.
The wedding was small but beautiful at her Church and then a reception at a local botanical garden. It was perfect. And then we went off on our Hawaii Honeymoon. Hawaii is gorgeous, our Hotel was amazing, everything was great for 2 weeks. The only fly in the perfect ointment was our sex life. Faith was willing but not enthusiastic. I had hoped for at least a little passion. But, I was sure things would get better.
They didn’t. When we got back home, moved into our condo which was an incredibly generous gift from her parents, even if his company built the complex, sex became less and less frequent. After about a 2 months, Faith told me that she was really sorry she couldn’t be more affectionate, that was her term. So we discussed the problem and she said that she thought all the years of being told sex was bad it was hard for her to see it as good, even though we were married. I mentioned maybe counseling would help. That was my biggest mistake. But Faith grabbed onto that idea and asked everyone she which was we knew about counseling and asking for recommendations. A week later, she picked a therapist and made an appointment with Hester Slatturnlee, D.Psych. for the next Monday afternoon.
When I got home from work, Faith was really excited and happy. She even greeted me with a crushing hug and a big kiss. Not a french kiss but still it was something. I asked how things went and she said it was wonderful, she has to go back starting 2 or 3 times a week but she felt so much better about herself and us and kept telling me how much she loved me and how much she appreciated my “waiting for her.”
So, I was hopeful. Hopeful yes but our sexlife really did not improve. Maybe once or twice a month Faith would “do her duty” and we would go through the motions of “making love.” But Faith kept telling me she was getting better, so I tried to believe her.
Fast Forward to our second Thanksgiving, or the week before our second thanksgiving.
I came home, it was a Wednesday, Faith has obviously gotten home just a few minutes before me. I heard the shower running which was unusual since she usually showered in the morning. I knocked on the bathroom door and she called out hi, and said she would be out in a few minutes.
So, I went to the living room snapped on the t.v. and watched the gossip news. When she came into the living room ½ an hour later she looked really cute, there was a glow about her, she was wearing a pair of low rise jeans with a tightish white shirt tucked into them. I noticed she was not wearing a bra, which I had been encouraging her not to do because her firm, perky, a-cups didn’t need them. She smiled and I said, “going to Bible study tonight”? And She said, no, why don’t we go out to dinner, I have so much to tell you. I asked about what and she said shhhh its a secret, sort of. So of course I thought, maybe she is pregnant from one of our infrequent love making lack of adventures. But she didn’t look pregnant.
We ended up going to Charley and Paul’s a chain sports bar and restaurant which was fairly noisy but we got a table way in the back sot of away from everyone so we could talk.
We ordered Hamburgers and fries and 2 cokes because neither of us really drank much and it was a weekday which meant I had to go to work the next day even if Faith didn’t. All she had was a visit to Dr. Hester at 10.
So, after the waitress left, I asked what’s up?
I really shouldn’t have.
