I read this story once on a website, only to be disappointed when I returned to the site to found it had been deleted. I decided to rewrite it to the best of my ability from memory. While the unknown author did not write the version you’re about to read, the story idea belongs to them. Hopefully you all enjoy this story as much as I did. If it is well received, I may even add on more chapters of my own.

SUMMER 1995 – RICHMOND, VIRGINIA

It was somewhat early in the morning, around 7 am and I was downstairs trying to sneak coffee up to my bedroom. It was then that the kitchen phone rang.

“Hello?” I answered.

“Hey you,” she said slyly.

I knew at once that it was Hannah. She was by far the most beautiful girl in my school. We had even dated for a few months in 6th grade, and I’d known her forever. But, something in her voice was different this time.

“My parents are on vacation and rented my an ass load of movies to watch. Maybe you wanna come watch a few with me?” she asked.

“Umm, let me just ask my dad,” I replied.

“Kay.”

“Hey dad is it all right if I go to a friends house and spend the night?” I yelled into the living room.

“THE FUCK? MEN DON’T HAVE SLUMBER PARTIES,” came his response.

“No no, da-“

“FINE JUST GO!”

There was no point in explaining anything to my father, he was just to narrow minded.
