I usually travel to India every two years with my family, but since my family was busy the summer after senior year we decided I could go alone for the first time. I wasn’t too concerned, as I was 18 and wasn’t as afraid of public places and strangers as I was when I was younger.

Travelling to India from my home state of California is long and tiresome. There is almost always a layover as there are very few nonstop flights from California to India. This time, I had just flown a 16-hour flight from California to Singapore. I still had over 3 hours until my next flight to India, so I had some time to recover and stretch my limbs. I’m decently tall at 6’1″, so an economy class seat can be uncomfortable. I was sore, so I decided to walk around and explore the airport a bit. Singapore’s airport looked amazing inside and outside, and I was already feeling better.

At one point, I went to use the restroom. Turned out that the men’s restroom was completely clogged. I avoided the crowded restroom and went for the gender-neutral bathroom, where I’d have a room to myself. I slowly opened the door, and to my shock, someone shoved me into the room and locked the door behind me. I panicked and thought I was either dead, or kidnapped. Then the light came on, and it was a beautiful Asian-American girl staring at me. She had on hoodie, sneakers, and sweatpants that emphasized her ass. She was about 5’7″, a bit taller than most girls I knew from school. She seemed to be about my age and rather nervous.
